The Red and White Stripes v Bee Faction

Two songs for Wembley in Blur v Oasis style battle … VOTING IS NOW CLOSED

Brentford are on their way to Wembley; therefore Brentford FC’s rock ’n’ rollers have rushed into the recording studio to shout “Wembley!” into a microphone.

Two contenders have emerged, in a Blur v Oasis or Pop Stars, The Rivals JPT Final Sing-off.

The rivalry is intense. Egos are fuelled. So it’s down to you, the Brentford supporter, to decide which is best.

Much is at stake here: the winner buys the loser a curry after Brentford’s trip to Huddersfield on the last day of the season!

The BBC London 94.9 Sports Show will also be playing both tracks on the Friday Night show on April 1st (7pm to 8pm)

Download the singles for free below - or listen to a 30 sec taster and then VOTE for your favourite. The poll will close at midnight on Saturday April 2nd.

The JPT Final Sing-off wishes to raise awareness of The Feltham Bees, Brentford FC’s official disability side. The Feltham Bees are a pan-disability football club for players aged 5 to 50 - girls and boys, men and women. So, while you’re deciding which 45 you want to vote for pop along to their website and find out about all they do: www.felthambees.co.uk

THE RED AND WHITE STRIPES
West London Pride - Wembley Remix

Produced by chart-topping Hard-Fi’s Producer (Wolsey White), the Stripes are back with the story of our trip to Wembley: “If it goes to penalties, we’ve got Richard Lee…” Art-school brains and a foot-tapping Punk/Northern Soul hybrid, the Stripes have the fan-base and the nous. They are the Blur of this battle.

BEE FACTION
BrentfordMan / BrentfordWoman

This is the proletarian rockin’ rhythm ’n’ blues Oasis-y half of the equation, featuring tunesmiths who have worked for the likes of Aerosmith, Pulp and Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Can Bee Faction win your vote with their personal journey? “I’ve been to Macclesfield, Oldham and Grimsby, but now my knees have gone all trembly …”
